This was a fun night of shooting. I'm trying to get all of these back from Juan, but this is probably my favorite one. We used a D70 on like a 25 second timer with a tripod that miraculously worked for us. We also used a laser light pen for the illustrations. I was inspired by works of Picassos id seen where he drew abstractions with a tiny light and an open shutter. So one night at the old ice factory (alas no more) I put two and two together (camera + laser light = awesome). No photo touch ups here, or any tricks. all the shots were done as you see them with my very patient friends Juan and Gerard.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
